That's a different drink. Len. The stuff I'm talking about made a fizzy drink and it was the early 70s. I remember that advert, though.

Don't know if it's still around. Going by the taste of it, the stuff they had was sitting in the loft for 20 yrs

I was force fed the muck at Mrs worms parents place a couple of years ago. Her and her brother love the stuff.

Len, do you remember spearmint ice lollies? Sort of creamy texture. Utterly delicious. Iceland are now doing bubblegum ice lollies that are similar in texture. Wish they would do a spearmint version.

Sachets? Maybe it was. When I remember the flavour, I get an image of the Liver Salts tin.

It's important to get this stuff right, Dave.
Do any other oldies remember a fizzy drink powder mix you could buy in the 70s? I think it came in a tin very much like Andrew's Liver Salts, but I might have concocted the packaging from a faulty memory, and imagination, because it actually tasted like Andrew's Liver Salts, flavoured with orange.
I think there might have been a smiley face logo.
You mixed teaspoons of powder/granules into tap water, and PRESTO! - orangeade. There may have been another flavour that I can't remember. Obviously it was foul, but the novelty factor works well on kids because kids are basically really stupid.
We used to buy it in Liptons. We bought a lot of it. And corned beef. Many trips to Liptons, in fact. Turned out my mum was having an affair with the manager.
